Full disclosure: IMPACT is a HubSpot partner -- but that's not why they're included here. IMPACT's landing pages have long been a source of design inspiration. I love the simple layout of the page, from the large headline copy and detailed featured image, to the outline that surrounds the form, to the colors and fonts that are very pleasing to the eye.

The purpose of the transactional landing page is to persuade a visitor to take action by completing a transaction. This is accomplished by providing a form that needs to be filled out. The visitor information is obtained in order to add the visitor’s email address to a mailing list as a prospect. An email campaign can then be developed based on responses to transactional landing pages. The goal is to capture as much information about the visitor as possible. The ultimate goal is to convert the visitor into a customer.[citation needed]

Chris, thank you so very much for that. I am new to all of this and feel so overwhelmed in trying to figure out what system to use and how to put it all together. I have written 3 ebooks and have a course to go with one. One is a free give-away. I didn’t know where to start, but wanted to just do the free give-away in exchange for the emails. Later on, I thought I’d offer the course that goes with that book. What do you recommend? Do you think I should just stick with Leadpages and collect the emails and then when I’m ready to offer the course, use ClickFunnels? Can the names collected in LeadPages be integrated into ClickFunnels? I’m still trying to work this all out. Thanks for any help/guidance you can give.

It's no surprise Unbounce is near the top of this list -- they've actually written the book on creating high-converting landing pages. Although there are lots of amazing things about this landing page, the two that I absolutely love are: 1) The use of a chat window instead of a classic form, and 2) the detailed -- but well packaged -- information below the form.
Are you interested in a funnel that’s currently making $17,947 per day? Not per month, that’s per day! If we told you that you could ethically “knock off” this funnel in less than 10 minutes, I bet you’d be interested right? Well, you can do just that! Here we’re going to show you how this funnel works, giving you a tour of the various pages and showing you why they are so effective at generating revenue and retaining leads.
As you may have guessed, this has nothing to do with curdled milk! This is website visitors who have been attracted to your website. You should create a landing, or lead capture page, which offers something compelling, like good free content (or like a useful and relevant ebook). In exchange for this, potential customers will leave their email address, and possibly other details. This should give you credibility, and make your prospects trust you. By constantly changing your offering here, you can be funneling new leads into your business at all stages.
Next, you need to educate your prospects. In other words, you need to teach people why they need your product/service and how it works. In this stage, you can start promoting sales, but getting too aggressive can be a bit of a turn off. Instead, think about how to become a friend to a potential customers. For example, if you’re a car salesman speaking to someone looking at vehicles on your lot, you might have a common connection in the fact that you both have kids, so you can direct the prospect to vehicles that have a high safety rating or are great for growing families, as you’re talking about your own experiences dealing with a snarky teen or potty-training a toddler.

“The main headline copy is short and persuasive with the sub-head doing the heavy lifting (at the risk of sounding clickbaity). The color and font of the CTA feels right and there aren’t too many CTAs to distract the visitor. Social proof with logos is good but can extend it by adding testimonials from real users. The body text explains the benefits but can be broken down into sections to have a better flow. Finally, the difference between a good first impression and a great one boils down to subtler aspects. Use logos with better resolution!”

Without a proper sales funnel you’re leaving tons of money on the table. ClickFunnels is designed in a way that allows you to manage and interact with potential customers from the first time they land on your website all the way up until they become paying customers (and they even handle much of the long-term backend like email marketing to maximize the LTV of each customer).

There are two options: pro pricing and free signup. Signing up is as simple as possible. You just need to create a username and password. Once you get in and start using their tools, you’ll have to upgrade. The free account limits the number of forms you can use. When you hit that limit, you’re requested to upgrade. Otherwise your account won’t work.
